About the company

Ten years of getting properties through inspection.

CV Repairs Compliance is a multi-state inspection preparation and property repair company. We have spent roughly a decade in affordable and multifamily housing, working against the published HUD standards rather than a generic maintenance checklist.

We are based on the East Coast, and that is where our crews, suppliers and scheduling are strongest. But we are not limited to it. When a property in another part of the country has an inspection date and no one to meet it, we mobilize a team, handle their travel and lodging ourselves, and run the scope to the same standard we would two miles from home. Any job, anywhere in the USA.

What we sell is not really labor. It is the certainty that when the inspector arrives, nothing surprises you. That requires knowing the standard cold, doing the repair properly the first time, and documenting all of it. Ten years in, that is the whole discipline.

We work for owners, management companies and housing authorities who are tired of scrambling. Most of our work comes from properties we have prepared before, or from the managers who moved on and brought us with them.

Strongest along the Eastern Seaboard, available for any job, in any state.

Professional, start to finish

Uniformed, briefed crews who understand they are working in someone's home. Clean sites, respected entry windows, and a supervisor who answers the phone.

Quality that holds up

We repair to the standard, not to the photo. Work that passes an inspection in March should still pass in November, and ours is built that way.

East Coast core, national reach

Our crews and supply lines are strongest along the Eastern Seaboard, and we mobilize to any state in the country when a property needs us there.

Built for portfolios

Ten years of multi-property work means one checklist, one reporting format, and one contact, whether you own one building or thirty.

Why this matters

An inspection isn't a test you cram for. It's a condition you maintain.

NSPIRE moved HUD away from cosmetics and toward what actually harms residents: health, safety, and whether things work. That is good policy, and it means the old strategy of tidying up the week before no longer survives contact with an inspector.

Scores drive your inspection cycle

Under NSPIRE, a strong score can push your next inspection years out. A weak one pulls it forward and puts you back under the microscope.

Life-threatening findings start a clock

Deficiencies classed as life-threatening carry short, non-negotiable correction windows. Missing them escalates fast.

Funding and standing are on the line

Persistent failures put subsidy, enforcement referrals, and your credibility with HUD and lenders at risk.

Your maintenance team is already full

Inspection prep is a second full-time job dropped on staff who are already covering work orders and turns.

That's the entire job we do: find what would fail, fix it properly, and keep it fixed, so inspection day is uneventful.

What we do

Six ways we keep a property inspection-ready

Engage one service or all six. Every scope is run by the same supervisor, documented the same way, and quoted in hours before we start.

Field technology

We document the job in our own field platform.

Our supervisors work from a system we built for this exact job. Every unit, every common area and every deficiency is recorded on the property as it happens, not reconstructed from notes at the end of the week.

Before and after, with a timestamp

Every deficiency is photographed when our supervisor finds it and photographed again when it is corrected. Each image carries the date and time it was taken.

NSPIRE severity on every finding

Findings are classified by NSPIRE severity as they are logged, and life-threatening items carry their 24-hour correction deadline inside the system.

Progress unit by unit, building by building

Open and corrected counts are tracked per unit and per building, so where the property stands is a number, not an opinion.

Daily and property-wide reports

What was worked, who worked it and what remains, generated from the field record rather than written up from memory days later.

A complete audit trail

Every entry is stamped with the person, the property and the time. If a finding is ever disputed, the record already exists.

Decisions flagged, not buried

When work is waiting on an owner approval or an access issue, the system raises it instead of letting the schedule slip quietly.

Want to see what your reporting would look like?

We will walk you through the system on the first call, using a sample property, before you commit to anything.

Book a walkthrough
How it works

Four steps. No surprises on inspection day.

The same sequence on every property we take on, whether you have six months or three weeks.

Step 01

Audit

We walk the whole property

Unit interiors, common areas, exterior and building systems, all inspected against the NSPIRE standards an inspector will actually use, with photos on every finding.

Step 02

Plan

You get a ranked punch list

Every deficiency sorted by severity and location, with the work and the hours it takes attached. Nothing is vague, and nothing starts before you approve it.

Step 03

Repair

Our crews clear the list

Life-safety items first, then the rest in the order that protects your score. We work around residents and report progress as we go.

Step 04

Verify

We re-walk before the inspector does

A final audit confirms every item is closed and documented. On inspection day, our supervisor is on site with the file in hand.

Nationwide coverage

Any state. Any portfolio. One standard of work.

Our base and our deepest bench are on the East Coast, but we are a multi-state operation built to travel. When a property anywhere in the country has an inspection date and no crew to meet it, we mobilize a team, house them, and run the scope to the same standard we would two miles from home.

We are fully insured and have a nationwide responseA travel fee may apply for Hawaii and Alaska.

Travel-ready crews

Lodging, transport and tooling handled by us, not billed back to your maintenance budget as surprises.

Portfolio-wide consistency

Multiple properties across multiple states audited against one checklist, reported in one format.

One point of contact

A single supervisor accountable for your scope, wherever the property sits.

How we operate

Six commitments we make on every property

We would rather be judged on how we work than on adjectives. These are the things we hold ourselves to, and the things you should hold any contractor to.

Photo evidence on every finding

Each deficiency is logged in our field platform with a photo, a location and a severity class, before and after, each image stamped with the date and time. You can hand the file to anyone and it holds up.

A written scope before we start

You approve a written scope and an agreed number of hours before anyone mobilizes. No open-ended labor, and no invoice that arrives bigger than the conversation.

One supervisor, start to finish

The person who audits your property is accountable for the repairs and stands with you on inspection day. On larger crews we add field supervisors, never more than twelve technicians to one, but the name on your contract never changes.

You set the target, we quote the hours

Tell us whether you need a comfortable pass or a push for 90+, and we will tell you what each takes in hours. You know the number before the crew arrives.

We re-walk our own work

Every closed item is verified in a second pass. If something we repaired gets cited, we come back and correct it.

Progress you don't have to chase

Our supervisors record the work on the property as it happens, so the counts of what's cleared, what's open and what's blocking come straight out of the field record instead of a phone call you had to make.

Not sure what your property actually needs?

Start with a walkthrough. We'll tell you honestly what would fail today, what it would take in hours to fix, and whether you need us at all. There's no charge for the conversation.

Questions

Straight answers, before you call.

If yours isn't here, ask us directly. We'd rather tell you we're not the right fit than sell you a scope you don't need.

Ask a question

That is the main decision you make. A focused engagement targets the high-point and high-risk items, the fastest route to a comfortable pass. A deep engagement goes unit by unit across every inspectable area and aims at the 90+ band, which is what stretches the interval before your next inspection. We will tell you honestly which one your property actually needs, and what each would cost in hours.

Next step

Tell us your inspection date.
We'll tell you what it takes.

Send us the property, the unit count and the date on the calendar. You'll get an honest read on where you stand and a quote in hours. No obligation, no pressure.
